WATER WASH SPRAY BOOTH
FUNCTION & OPERATING PRINCIPLE - The function of "PLASMA METAL SPRAY BOOTH" is - to provide fresh & clean air for operators. - Collecting dry over-spray of metal powder in to the washing chamber. The principle of "PLASMA METAL SPRAY BOOTH" is based on collecting (scrubbing) the dry over-sprayed powder by using centrifugal action. The dry overspread plasma spray powder is collected into tank by a down draught and forced to pass over distribution plate at a very high velocity,and subjected to a torchorous traveling path. The powder if any is carried away from working chamber by the air is subjected to pass through eliminator plates in washing chamber. The eliminators plate avoids sprayed particles depositions on blower impeller. Waterwash spray booth for handling dusts and fumes generated by Thermal Spray Processes. Unit will be designed for self exhaust and to collect particulate from the thermal spray work environment. Spray Booth will incorporate efficient water wash principle. Air will be drawn form the work area with over spray, dust and fumes into a water curtain. The exhaust air will be washed twice, once as it passes through the curtain and then again as it is scrubbed and agitated in a dense water spray created by a series of overlapping water spray nozzles. Booth exhaust air at 14000 CFM against minimum 3 " static pressure. Inlet face velocity of the booth will be 250 CFM minimum. Unit be supplied with a fan motor suitable to produce required air velocity at the booth face opening. Fan will generate a hoise level of less than 90 db. Booth will have a reinforced 10 gauge mild steel water tank with slopping bottom for complete draining and easy cleaning. The Tank will be accessible from the front of the booth for convenient clean out 1 water tank capacity will be 80 litres minimum. The washing chamber & Booth panels will be fabricated from 14 gauge mild steel sheets. Panels will have flanged sides and rolled edges with matching pre-punched slotted holes for easy bolting for assembly or disassembly. Unit will be provided with an automatic water level control system. Water when lost through evaporation will be replaced as required by an automatic fill valve. The automatic water control system will maintain full tank level at all times for proper water conditioning and recirculating cycles. Booth will be provided with a vapor proof fluorescent fixture which will facilitate two 40 watt tube lights. Electrical power for booth lighting will be supplied from main power connection of the booth. Provision of mounting head stock and tail stack Assembly. All piping including that for water supply line to booth and drain line to sewer shall be provided. Spray Booth will be supplied with Starters and Light switches and all other equipment for satisfactory functioning. Exhaust stack from spray booth to outside the building will be provided by the contractor.
